Elneny & Welbeck start in 4-2-3-1: My Arsenal XI To Face Hull

Danny Welbeck

Arsenal will look to book their place in the quarter finals of the FA Cup when we take on Hull City at the Emirates on Saturday afternoon….this is the team I’d like to see Arsene Wenger go with.

Goalkeeper: Ospina

Petr Cech should get a rest for this one. Could you imagine he got injured just before the Barca game? We’d have to throw in the towel.

Defence: Bellerin, Chambers, Mertesacker, Gibbs

Gabriel has been ruled out with a hamstring injury and Laurent Koscielny is facing a late fitness test after being forced off at half time against Leicester but I personally wouldn’t risk him. Calum Chambers did extremely well during the second half on Sunday and will be fine alongside Per Mertesacker against Hull City.

I’d like to see Kieran Gibbs given a start as long as he’s recovered from the knock that kept him out of the game against Leicester while Hector Bellerin will continue at right-back, well, because we don’t really have anyone else to fill in to give him a rest.

Midfield: Elneny, Flamini

I’m not usually one to call on Flamini to start but with Barca on the horizon we need to protect Coquelin, so needs must.

The boss has hinted that Mohamed Elneny will get another chance to impress so Aaron Ramsey can get a breather and I’m looking forward to seeing the Egyptian international again. He put in a very encouraging display on his debut against Burnley.

Attack: The Ox, Campbell, Walcott

Theo deserves to come back in to the starting eleven after making a huge impact off the bench on Sunday and with Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez rested, Joel Campbell should also get a start. The Costa Rican has been unfortunate to lose his place recently.

Oxlade-Chamberlain would be the third player in attack for me and he could get a run-out in his more preferred central position.

Striker: Welbeck

If one man deserves a start, it’s DAT GUY WELBZ! His winner against Leicester was the moment of the season so far.

This would be my line-up:

What do you think? What team would you go with?
