Arsene Wenger has revealed that Petr Cech will return between the sticks against Hull City tomorrow but Olivier Giroud is a doubt for the game with a toe injury.

Cech was dropped to the bench in midweek with No.2 keeper David Ospina starting in our Champions League group stage opener against Paris Saint-Germain.

The Colombian put in a Man of the Match performance during a 1-1 draw at the Parc des Prince but Wenger has confirmed that usual No.1 Cech will be back in goal tomorrow.

The boss appears to have suggested that Cech will be our goalkeeper for Premier League games while Ospina is expected to keep goal for Champions League and domestic cup competitions this season.

Giroud is yet to start a game so far this campaign following his late arrival to pre-season training and was once again overlooked on Tuesday night with Alexis Sanchez starting up front against PSG.

The French international was expected to finally line-up against Hull tomorrow but Arsene has now claimed that Olivier is a doubt after picking up a toe injury against PSG in midweek so he’ll be assessed after training today.

It will be interesting to see what Wenger does if Giroud isn’t deemed fit enough to start again as the Alexis up front experiment isn’t working so perhaps we’ll see Lucas Perez given another chance to impress through the middle this weekend.
