Team News: Wenger says Sanchez & Ramsey will be assessed + Wilshere latest
The international break is over so we can finally get back to Premier League football and Arsene Wenger has been speaking at his press conference this morning ahead of Saturday’s clash with Bournemouth.
The boss was obviously quizzed about a whole host of topics including the latest team news and he’s given an update on the squad’s fitness as we prepare to welcome the South Coast club to the Emirates this weekend.
Wenger confirmed that we have no fresh injury concerns to worry about so the squad is in excellent health right now but the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Aaron Ramsey and David Ospina will be assessed when they return to training today.
Sanchez started during Chile’s World Cup qualifying loss at Bolivia on Tuesday night despite picking up an ankle injury shortly before the game so he’ll need to have that checked out before his availability against Bournemouth will be determined.
Ramsey scored a late second goal to secure Wales a 2-0 win at Moldova on Tuesday while Ospina played the full ninety minutes to help Colombia draw with Brazil so both players will also be assessed today.
Wenger also provided an update on Jack Wilshere and says the midfielder is getting stronger every day but he’s still not 100% match fit so it doesn’t sound like he’ll be involved in the squad this weekend.
At Colney. Wenger on team news: "Sanchez, Ospina, Ramsey are coming back today. We'll check today. Wilshere is getting stronger every day."

We welcome Bournemouth to the Emirates on Saturday afternoon looking to bounce back from consecutive defeats at Stoke and Liverpool so it’s vital we get back to winning ways – especially with a trip to Chelsea up next week.
