Nine young guns have travelled with the first team squad as Arsenal flew-out of London ahead of tomorrow night’s Europa League clash with BATE Borisov.

Arsene Wenger fielded a weakened side for our group opener against Cologne earlier this month and he’s vowed to pack the bench with youngsters against BATE tomorrow.

We have a Premier League game with Brighton on Sunday at 12pm so understandably the boss is going to rest several of our key men with members of the U23 squad filling-in.

Charlie Gilmour is among the squad that is en route to Belarus this afternoon with the 18-year-old defensive midfielder hoping to get a chance to impress while Vlad Dragomir could also make his debut for the first team.

Reiss Nelson and Ainsley Maitland-Niles are expected to be handed starts in the wing-back positions after featuring in recent games cup against Cologne and Doncaster Rovers.

Chuba Akpom, Eddie Nketiah, Joe Willock, Matt Macey and Josh DaSilva have also been included in the squad that flew out of London today so they’ll be hoping to at least make the bench tomorrow night.

Jack Wilshere, Mohamed Elneny, Theo Walcott, Olivier Giroud, David Ospina and Shkodran Mustafi are among the more senior players who are in the travelling party and they are all expected to start against BATE.

Here are some photos of the boys leaving for Barysaw today:
