Arsenal star a doubt for Man City game after missing training today

According to Football London, Sead Kolasinac remains a major doubt for Arsenal’s huge Premier League clash with Manchester City after missing training today.
Kolasinac limped out of our 2-1 comeback victory over Swansea City last weekend after aggravating a hip injury that had hampered him last month.
The full-back had played a key role in our win at the Emirates as he scored the equaliser before setting up Aaron Ramsey to score the eventual winner in the second half.
Arsene Wenger admitted after the game on Saturday that he was unsure whether the 24-year-old would be fit to return for our trip to the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
It looks like Kolasinac is running out of time to prove his fitness as he wasn’t in training today ahead of our Europa League group stage clash with Red Star Belgrade on Thursday.
The defender would probably have been rested tomorrow night anyway but Football London claim his absence from training today means Kolasinac is now a major doubt to face City this weekend.
It would be a huge blow if he’s ruled out as Kolasinac has enjoyed an excellent start to life at the Emirates since joining the club on a free transfer from Schalke last summer.
If he misses the trip to Manchester, then we’ll have to move Nacho Monreal out to the left wing with Rob Holding coming in alongside Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny in the back three in the absence of Shkodran Mustafi and Calum Chambers.
That wouldn’t be the ideal defensive unit to face the best attack in the league, and one of the best in Europe, so let’s pray Kolasinac is able to recover from his hip problem to take on City.
