Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been photographed packing some belongings in to his car at the Dortmund training ground amid on-going speculation he’s close to joining Arsenal.
Chief exec Ivan Gazidis has been in Dortmund over the past few days along with head scout Sven Mislintat trying to thrash out a deal with the Bundesliga club to sign Aubameyang.
The Mirror claim we’ve already agreed terms with the striker over a £200,000-a-week contract but a fee is yet to be settled on after Dortmund rejected our opening £45m offer.
The paper says they want around £60m but we could make up the difference in valuation by including Olivier Giroud as part of the deal – possibly on loan for the rest of the season.
Arsene Wenger admitted at his press conference this morning that we’re interested in signing Aubameyang but insists no deal is close to completion right now.
However, the striker has fuelled speculation that a deal is close after a photo has emerged showing Aubameyang packing his car with belongings after training this morning.

Obviously Arsenal fans are praying this means there’s been a breakthrough in negotiations and the 28-year-old is clearing out his locker in preparation for his move to north London.
Talks between Arsenal chiefs and Dortmund are expected to continue today so we should have updates later this evening as all parties are keen for the deal to be reached as quickly as possible to avoid it dragging on any longer.
