Confirmed teams: Arsenal v Lazio: Torreira & Lichtsteiner make debuts
We play our final pre-season friendly tonight as Arsenal take on Italian giants Lazio at the Friends Arena in Stockholm.
New signing Lucas Torreira makes his first appearance in an Arsenal shirt as he starts in midfield alongside Granit Xhaka while Alex Iwobi gets a chance to impress.
Stephan Lichtsteiner also makes his first start for the club as he replaces Hector Bellerin at right-back while Calum Chambers, Rob Holding and Bernd Leno all start.
With Sead Kolasinac ruled out for at least 8 weeks Ainsley Maitland-Niles starts at left-back while Reiss Nelson and Eddie Nketiah support Alexandre Lacazette in attack.
As this is our last friendly before the Premier League opener against Man City, it’s a bit of a surprise Emery has rested so many first team regulars but we should see the likes of Mesut Ozil, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the second half.
These are the line-ups:
Arsenal
Leno, Lichtsteiner, Chambers, Holding, Maitland-Niles, Nelson, Torreira, Xhaka, Iwobi, Lacazette, Nketiah
Subs: Bellerin, Sokratis, Mustafi, Mavrapanos, Elneny, Mkhitaryan, Ozil, Guendouzi, Smith Rowe, Aubameyang
Lazio
Proto, Wallace, Acerbi, Radu, Basta, Parolo, Leiva, Murgia, Lulic, Luis Alberto, Caicedo
Subs: Guerrieri, Adamonis, Felipe, Patric, Bastos, Correa, Jordao, Badelj, Caceres, Milikovic, Cataldi, Durmisi, Rossi, Neto.
