Confirmed line-ups: Arsenal vs Newcastle: Tierney and Partey start
Arsenal desperately need to get back to winning ways when we welcome Newcastle United to the Emirates this evening.
Kieran Tierney has been passed fit to start for Arsenal tonight after recovering from a knock while Cedric Soares comes in for Hector Bellerin at right-back. David Luiz keeps his place alongside Rob Holding so Gabriel has to settle for a place on the bench.
Thomas Partey is also recalled to start alongside Granit Xhaka in the Arsenal midfield with Dani Ceballos given the night off. Emile Smith Rowe keeps his place in the attacking midfield role so Joe Willock and Willian miss out.
Arteta has surprisingly named the same frontline that drew a blank against Crystal Palace as Alexandre Lacazette leads the line up front with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Bukayo Saka offering support. Therefore, Gabriel Martinelli has to settle for a place on the bench alongside Nicolas Pepe.
These are the teams for the game:
Arsenal
Leno, Cedric, Holding, Luiz, Tierney, Partey, Xhaka, Aubameyang, Smith-Rowe, Saka, Lacazette
Subs: Bellerin, Gabriel, Willian, Runarsson, Pepe, Elneny, Willock, Nketiah, Martinelli
Newcastle

Subs: Dubravka, Ritchie, Hayden, Hendrick, Manquillo, Yedlin, Murphy, Sean Longstaff, Anderson
