The starting XI that will help Arsenal beat Sheffield United

Arsenal simply have to get back on track with a win when we take on Sheffield United at Bramall Lane on Sunday. Here is the starting eleven I want to see Mikel Arteta select.

The players should still be fuming following Thursday night’s late collapse against Slavia Prague and we still have a lot of work to do in order to reach the semi-finals of the Europa League after the 1-1 draw at home.

However, we should still be confident of getting a positive result in the second leg and online casino au have Arsenal priced as the firm favourites to reach the last-4 despite the poor result on Thursday.

Therefore, I don’t think we need to go overboard and rest all our key players at Sheffield United – as some fans have suggested. We still need to do our best to improve our league position so a strong team is needed tomorrow.

Bernd Leno should obviously keep his place in goal but it will be interesting to see what Arteta does in defence. I think we’ll see Pablo Mari recalled to start alongside Gabriel with Rob Holding rested while Hector Bellerin should keep his place at right-back.

Left-back is the area of concern after Kieran Tierney was ruled out for a month with a knee injury but I don’t think Cedric Soares is the answer. We lose too much attacking threat so I’d opt for Bukayo Saka at left-back.

Thomas Partey should keep his place alongside Granit Xhaka while Emile Smith Rowe will start in the No.10 role as long as recovers from a minor ankle injury. Martin Odegaard is definitely out so let’s hope ESR is passed fit.

Sheffield United are a poor side and they are destined for the drop as they sit rock bottom of the table. You’d be better off gambling on real money slots, or machines á sous en argent reel as they say in France, than betting on the Blades to be a Premier League side next season.

However, that doesn’t mean Arsenal should take them for granted and I hope we see Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang recalled up front tomorrow. We need our big-gun firing on all cylinders ahead of the second leg in Prague so let’s start him tomorrow and give him the chance to bag some confidence-boosting goals.

I’d also love to see Gabriel Martinelli given a start in attack as he deserves it. His energy in the final third has been missed so I’d go with Martinelli on the right if Saka starts in defence.

Willian was woeful once again on Thursday night and I have no idea why Arteta started him ahead of the likes of Martinelli or Nicolas Pepe. But with Auba moving up top, I’d recall Pepe on the left and drop Alexandre Lacazette to the bench.

This would be my Arsenal line-up:
