Arsenal predicted line-up against Everton

Arsenal will be travelling to Goodison Park to face off against a struggling Everton side on Saturday lunchtime in the Premier League.

Mikel Arteta’s side will be coming into this game following the F.A Cup exit versus Manchester City. But, it is highly unlikely that the last week’s result will make any impact on their performance in tomorrow’s encounter.

The north London club have continued to soar in the league this season, dropping only seven points in 19 games and losing only a solitary game.

However, with Sean Dyche set to make his debut as the new Toffees’ boss tomorrow following Frank Lampard’s dismissal, Arsenal should be careful about the ‘new manager bounce’ and will need to be cautious about the Merseyside club’s initial storm.

Expected Arsenal lineup against Everton

After starting against the Citizens last week, Matt Turner is likely to find himself on the bench as Aaron Ramsdale will return to the first eleven.

William Saliba should start at the heart of Arsenal’s defence alongside Gabriel Magalhaes. So, new signing Jakub Kiwior will have to wait a bit longer before making his debut in the Gunners’ colours.

Ben White should start in the right full-back position and Oleksandr Zinchenko is likely to be on the opposite side of defence. Therefore, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Kieran Tierney will be among the Arsenal substitutes.

There is a slight doubt about Thomas Partey’s availability but he is expected to passed fit to start as the deep-lying pivot just behind the two advanced-midfielders Granit Xhaka and Martin Odegaard. So, if the Ghanaian is deemed fit enough to start then the new winter arrival Jorginho could be on the bench and Fabio Vieira would also be among the substitutes.

Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka are likely to start on the wings, and therefore, Leandro Trossard is set to drop to the substitutes bench despite impressing on his full debut last time out. Reiss Nelson is back in training after a hamstring issue but a lace on the bench is the best he can hope for while Emile Smith Rowe is ruled out due to a thigh problem.

With Gabriel Jesus still out with a knee injury, in-form striker Eddie Nketiah will once again lead the line for Arsenal this weekend.
