Spurs fans with Tottenham tickets will observe proceedings closely in the next few weeks, as their star player, Son Heung-min’s contract is on the line.

The South Korean forward has had phenomenal success with the club and represents all the fans with Tottenham tickets

Now, the onus is on management to ensure he stays.

Son-Situation

Tottenham Hotspur’s Son Heung-min talisman has recently been at the forefront of discussions. With Harry Kane gone, Son has become the face of the club and is now the longest-serving player in the squad. His next move is vital for Tottenham’s future ambitions.

Recent reports, including those from Spurs insider Alasdair Gold, hint that a new contract for the South Korean star could be in the works.

Son Heung-min has truly become the embodiment of Tottenham Hotspur. Since his arrival in 2015, he’s captivated fans with Tottenham tickets and worldwide with his abilities while also personifying the drive and spirit Spurs aim to uphold. His impact goes far beyond his on-field performances; he’s seen as a leader and a role model.

At 32 years old, Son remains vital to Tottenham’s ambitions. Under the guidance of Ange Postecoglou, the club is looking to rebuild and compete at the highest levels, both domestically and in Europe. For this to happen, having a player of Son’s caliber leading the charge is essential.

Despite his contract nearing its end next summer, Tottenham has a safety net in the form of a one-year extension option. However, the club is keen to secure Son’s services for longer, ensuring he remains central to their plans. According to Gold (h/t football. London), both the club and Son seem inclined to reach an agreement:

“Spurs know how much he means to them, but he’s still a wonderful player in his 30s and their biggest star. Son seems to be relishing being the captain. The club has the security of the extra year option, but it’s a deal that will surely be made if both parties want it.”

The interest from Saudi Pro League clubs, reportedly eyeing Son for a move next summer, certainly adds an intriguing twist to the scenario. However, Gold downplays the likelihood of Son being swayed by financial incentives alone. He suggests that Son’s motivations go beyond money, believing that the player still envisions himself performing at the highest level for a few more years.

Ndombele Says Leaving Spurs Was the Right Decision

Tanguy Ndombele believes he made the correct decision to terminate his contract at Tottenham and is seeking redemption with Ligue 1 side Nice.

The French midfielder left Spurs in June after agreeing to terminate his contract despite having one year remaining.

Nice snatched up Ndombele less than a month later, and following a tough few years in football, the 27-year-old is looking to regain the form that secured him a move to north London in 2019.

Just three games into the season, Ndombele is already showing flashes of his talent again, but his renaissance in France is only just beginning.

‘Returning to France was the right decision,’ Ndombele told Marca. ‘I am at a point in my career where I need to play.

‘I have things to prove, and beyond playing well, I want to rediscover certain sensations.’

His time in Turkey was a real low point in the midfielder’s career. He only managed 664 minutes of football in 26 appearances at the Istanbul-based side.

Ndombele was also famously involved in a major bust-up with manager Okan Buruk due to being overweight over six kilograms.

He was reportedly caught swapping a strict diet for less nutritionally beneficial foods such as hamburgers and chips.

However, Ndombele has shed much of that weight while at Nice and is convinced he can return to form once more.

He added: ‘I’ve experienced some tough times, but that doesn’t mean I won’t play abroad again. I try to learn from the bad.

‘People forget that we’re human beings, we’re not robots. I may not be the player I was before, but I can be a good player.’

By rejoining Nice, Ndombele has reunited with sporting director Florian Maurice, who he knows from their time together at Lyon.

Maurice still has faith in Ndombele and is also optimistic that the midfielder will shine back in Ligue 1.

‘I’ve known him for a long time, and I have confidence in him,’ said Maurice. ‘I know what he can and can’t do.

‘He needed a healthy environment to give his best. He’s not there yet but on the right track.’

Richarlison Injured

Tottenham Hotspur striker Richarlison is set to miss the upcoming North London derby against Arsenal due to an injury picked up in training.

Injury expert Dr Rajpal Brar has shared a detailed update on the Brazilian’s condition, which has continued to hamper his progress since joining Spurs from Everton for nearly £60 million in 2022.

Richarlison arrived at Tottenham with high expectations but has yet to meet his price tag. He’s been on the wrong end of the fans with Tottenham tickets, who’ve constantly criticized his mediocre form

In his debut season, he managed only one Premier League goal. The Brazilian struggled with injuries and inconsistent form last season despite improving with 11 goals in 28 league appearances.

Unfortunately, this season has been no different. As manager Ange Postecoglou revealed, Richarlison suffered another setback in training. The injury is expected to sideline him for several weeks.

“He picked up the injury in training and is expected to be ruled out for a few weeks. Based on the potential return timeline around 21 September, he will likely be progressing through more dynamic activities with the hope of returning to team training after the international break.”

“It’s fair to rule him out for the entire month from first-team training.“

This update confirms that the Brazilian striker will miss several important fixtures, including the highly anticipated North London derby against Arsenal.

Spurs tried to find alternative options for the Brazilian in the summer transfer window that concluded, but there were no suitors.

But, the plan is clear – Postecoglou wants Richarlison gone soon. Tottenham tickets for upcoming fixtures are now available.
