Arsenal predicted line-up against West Ham United
After thrashing Sporting CP in the Champions League in midweek, Arsenal will face off against West Ham United at London Stadium in the Premier League this evening.
The Gunners endured a disappointing few results before the November international break but they have now bounced back brilliantly after two consecutive victories in all competitions.
Arsenal are currently fourth in the Premier League with 22 points from 12 games, sitting nine points behind the league leaders Liverpool. So, they will be desperate to come away with all three points from this fixture to close the gap uptop.
On the other hand, West Ham will be coming into this game off the back of an impressive 2-0 victory over Newcastle United so they are full of confidence at the moment.
Team news
Takehiro Tomiyasu and Ben White remain sidelined with their respective problems for this game. Moreover, Gabriel Magalhaes picked up a knock in the midweek game against Sporting so he is in doubt but he should be ready to start.
Predicted line-up
David Raya displayed an excellent performance last time out and is set to continue between the sticks for the visitors. William Saliba should continue alongside Gabriel in the CB position, while Jurrien Timber and Riccardo Calafiori could be the two fullbacks. So, Jakub Kiwior and Oleksandr Zinchenko may be among the substitutes.
Thomas Partey is likely to start in the deep-lying playmaker position and alongside him, Declan Rice is expected to continue. Therefore, Jorginho and Mikel Merino would have to settle for a place on the bench.
Martin Odegaard is set to continue in the attacking midfield position and Ethan Nwaneri might be used as a substitute for the North London club.
Leandro Trossard could be recalled after starting on the bench in midweek and despite that, he managed to put his name on the scoresheet after coming on as a substitute in the second half. So, Gabriel Martinelli would be among the substitutes despite scoring last time out.
Bukayo Saka should be on the right, while Kai Havertz is likely to be deployed in the centre-forward position. Therefore, Gabriel Jesus would have to make do with a place on the bench.
Expected Arsenal line-up vs West Ham
Raya; Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori; Partey, Rice, Odegaard; Saka, Havertz, Trossard
