Arsenal take on PSV Eindhoven at the Emirates Stadium tonight in the second leg of our Champions League last-16 tie.
We head into the game holding a commanding 7-1 lead from the first leg after a sensational win at the Philips Stadion last week. Despite our injury crisis in attack and struggles to score in the Premier League of late, we put on a masterclass of attacking football in Holland.
The stunning 7-1 win means we are all-but guaranteed a place in the quarter-finals but we need to finish the job on home soil tonight. Given our healthy lead, Mikel Arteta has taken the opportunity to rotate his team with several first team regulars rested.
David Raya still keeps goal this evening but Ben White is given a recall to start his first game since returning from injury. Jacub Kiwior comes in for William Saliba while Myles Lewis-Skelly and Gabriel Magalhaes complete the back four.
Jorginho is recalled to start in midfield with Thomas Partey dropping to the bench. Oleksandr Zinchenko gets a start in midfield along with Declan Rice so Martin Odegaard is given a breather.
The Arsenal front three is Raheem Sterling, Kieran Tierney and Mikel Merino so I’m certainly not expecting us to score seven tonight! Leandro Trossard, Gabriel Martinelli and Ethan Nwaneri are all on the bench.
These are the line-ups for the game:
Arsenal
Raya, White, Gabriel, Kiwior, Lewis-Skelly, Jorginho, Zinchenko, Rice, Sterling, Tierney, Merino.
Subs: Neto, Setford, Timber, Calafiori, Saliba, Partey, Odegaard, Nwaneri, Martinelli, Trossard, Butler-Oyedeji, Kabia
PSV
Benitez; Ledezma, Nagalo, Obispo, Malacia; Til, Schouten, Babadi; Bakayoko, Perišic, Driouech
Subs: Drommel (GK), Schiks (GK), Karsdorp, Flamingo, Dest, L. de Jong, Lang, Boscagli, Bajraktarević, Veerman, Land
