Sagna: “I’m Going To Try And Find A Solution With Arsenal”
With all the euphoria surrounding our FA Cup victory on Saturday night a rather interesting comment from Bacary Sagna appeared to go relatively unnoticed.
The 31-year-old is of course out of contract next month and widespread reports have suggested he’ll be joining Manchester City on a lucrative three-year deal after failing to come to terms with us over an extension.
However, when asked by BBC reporters after the match yesterday if this was his final game in an Arsenal shirt, Sagna appeared to offer fresh hope that he could yet remain at the Emirates after saying he’ll try to ‘find a solution’ with the club.
Sagna to BBC on his #afc future: "I don't know…I've been talking with the club for a long time and we'll try to find a solution."

These comments are a clear indication that his future is still very-much up in the air. While it’s still highly likely that he’ll be leaving, it seems as though he may have one more go at trying to find an agreement with Arsenal.
I really don’t think he’s desperate to leave and my gut feeling is he’s hoping the club come in with a late improved offer. Whether that happens or not remains to be seen, but I’m still not giving up all hope of him staying just yet.
The right-back had another solid game yesterday and fell to his knees with joy at the final whistle, and there was a touching moment when Arsene kissed him on the head.

Why would Sagna want to leave this team and the club he loves just to get paid a few extra thousand pounds each week to sit on City’s bench? Come on Bac, just ‘sign da ting’!
