PHOTOS: Ramsey, Gibbs + Arteta Among Stars To Return To Training

A number of Arsenal players returned to first team training this week ahead of the new season and the club have released some photos for us to see.

Those players who took part at the World Cup this summer have been given extra time off so aren’t involved in training yet, while our German contingent of Lukas Podolski, Mesut Ozil and Per Mertesacker are obviously still over in Brazil gearing up for tonight’s semi final with Brazil.

However, the likes of Mikel Arteta, Aaron Ramsey, Wojciech Szczesny, Kieran Gibbs, Carl Jenkinson, Yaya Sanogo, Mathieu Flamini, Nacho Monreal and Abou Diaby all took part.

Several youth players were also among the first team squad with Chuba Akpom, Thomas Eisfeld, Hector Bellerin among those given the opportunity to impress.
