9 Arsenal Fixtures Reschueduled After Being Selected For Live TV
The new Premier League season is getting ever-closer and today we learned which games would be shown live on TV between August and the end of November.
In total, 9 Arsenal games have been rescheduled after being selected by Sky Sports and BT Sport to be aired live on TV, including our opening weekend fixture at home to Crystal Palace, which will now kick off at 5.30pm and be shown on Sky Sports.
Thankfully, the majority of our fixtures have been moved to the late kick off, with only our games against Man City and West Brom starting in the early 12.45pm Saturday kick off. After last season, I think it’s fair to say we’d prefer to avoid those early starts!
Our home clash with Southampton has also had to be moved due to the Saints fixture against Manchester City being moved to Sunday, November 30 after being selected for TV.
Here are the new fixture times:
Saturday, August 16: Arsenal v Crystal Palace 5:30pm Sky Sports
Saturday, August 23: Everton v Arsenal 5.30pm Sky Sports
Sunday, August 31: Leicester City v Arsenal 4.00pm Sky Sports
Saturday, September 13: Arsenal v Manchester City 12.45pm BT Sport
Saturday, September 27: Arsenal v Tottenham Hotspur 5.30pm Sky Sports
Sunday, October 5: Chelsea v Arsenal 2.05pm Sky Sports
Sunday, November 9: Swansea City v Arsenal 4.00pm Sky Sports
Saturday, November 22: Arsenal v Manchester United 5.30pm Sky Sports
Saturday, November 29: West Bromwich Albion v Arsenal 12.45pm BT Sport
The new Southampton date is:
Arsenal v Southampton
Wednesday, December 3 (previously December 2)
Kick-off: 7.45pm
