VIDEO: Poldi Shouts ‘Arsenal’ When Khedira’s Asked About His Future
Lukas Podolski has fuelled rumours that Sami Khedira is set for a move to North London after shouting ‘Arsenal’ when the midfielder was asked about his future.
The Arsenal forward as been enjoying himself today as the Germany squad celebrated winning the World Cup in front of hundreds of thousands of fans in Berlin.
During the celebrations, Sami Khedira took to the stage and was asked where he’ll be playing next season, only for Podolski to shout out ‘Arsenal‘.
Khedira smiled and continues to answer the question coyly, saying “we’ll see. It doesn’t matter at the moment. I just want to enjoy our victory”
This comes amid speculation that we’ve tabled a £23m to Real Madrid for the midfielder but are struggling to agree personal terms, with Khedira supposedly demanding wages in the region of £150,000-£200,000-a-week.
You’ve gotta love Lukas Podolski. I’m sure he, along with Ozil and Mertesacker, have been doing their best to try and persuade him to come to the Emirates. Only time will tell if they’ve been successful…
Here’s the video, you can hear Podolski shouting out from the background.
