VIDEO Arsenal 1-2 Southampton: Gunners Crash Despite Sanchez Stunner
Arsenal crashed out of the Capital One Cup tonight after losing 2-1 to Southampton at the Emirates.
Alexis Sanchez gave us the perfect start after finding the top corner of the net with a stunning free-kick in the 14th minute but our lead didn’t last long as Tomas Rosicky gave away a silly penalty just 5 minutes later and the impressive Tadic made no mistake for 1-1.
The decisive moment came when Nathan Clyne smashed home a thunderbolt of a shot from 30 yards just before half time to give the Saints the lead. We only really created one decent opportunity in the second half and limped out of the League Cup after a pretty poor display overall.
