PHOTOS: Double Arsenal Boost As Injury Doubts Train Ahead Of Stoke
Arsenal appear to have been handed a double boost with both Kieran Gibbs and Wojciech Szczesny taking part in training this afternoon ahead of our clash with Stoke.
Gibbs was still considered a doubt after missing the last two games with a hip injury but thankfully he was among the players to be put through their paces by Arsene Wenger and his staff this afternoon.
With Monreal out, it will be a huge boost to have Gibbs available and it looks as though he’ll be restored to left-back tomorrow.
Szczesny also took part in full training for the first time in two weeks after suffering a hip injury against Manchester United and he too looks set for a recall to the squad.
However, it remains to be seen whether Wenger brings him straight back in to the starting eleven as Emi Martinez has performed admirably in his absence, keeping three clean sheets in each of his three appearances.
Here are some photos of Szczesny and Gibbs in training today, as posted on Arsenal.com early….
